Wills, Trusts, Estate Planning, and Probate
Avoidance
The majority of Richard's professional
time involves helping clients with wills, trusts, and estate
planning.
Probate
When estate planning is done properly,
there is no probate. However, the fact is that many
people never quite get around to doing their estate planning
before something happens. Richard is a probate attorney for
those situations where probate cannot be avoided.
Settling Trusts
Settling a living trust is usually fairly
easy and an attorney may not be necessary. However, if needed we
assist in settling or in the administration of trusts.
Capital Gains Tax Planning
Richard is a capital gains tax planning
expert. He is the author of the Dearborn Press book How to
Sell Real Estate without Paying Taxes - A Guide to Capital Gains
Tax Alternatives.
Entity
Formation and Asset Protection
A growing portion of Richard's
professional time is spent helping clients form Corporations,
LLCs, and other entities in order for clients to protect their
assets and limit their liability. In fact, Richard's latest
book, The Real Estate Investor's Guide to Corporations, LLCs
and Asset Protection Entities is in production and is
scheduled to be released in April, 2008.
